Mrs. Georgia W. Perkins, widow of Charles W. Perkins, daughter of the late Coluar L. Kilgore and the late Lena Wright, passed Wednesday, May 25, 2022.

She was a member of New Pilgrim Baptist Church in Simpsonville, SC.  She was a high school graduate and after high school, she worked for Kemet Electronics.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mrs. Georgia include her nieces and nephews, Patricia Meredith and Shirley Meredith both of Greer, SC, Jackie Irby of Atlanta, GA, Gregory Wright of Loganville, GA, Joely Wright, Kerin Wright, Norman Wright, Joe A. Wright, Vernon Wright and Christopher McMordie all of Winston Salem, NC along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Lee Alice W. Meredith, Amanda Wright, Henrietta Wright and Joe Wright.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 1, 2022, 11:30 AM at New Pilgrim Baptist Church, Simpsonville, SC, with burial in the church cemetery. Viewing will take place Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary from 4:00PM until 6:00PM. Please keep the Perkins family in your prayers.
