Mr. George Waymond Dawkins, widower of Alma Jean Dawkins, son of the late William and Bessie R. Dawkins passed on Monday, August 26, 2019.

Retired employee from Startex Mill.  During his spare time he enjoyed collecting old cars.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his daughters, Linda Dawkins and Barbara Dawkins both of Greer, South Carolina and Jacqueline (Otis) Williams of Simpsonville, South Carolina; one brother William Dawkins of Greer, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Terrance Dawkins, Qushunda Ford and Alexis Williams and four great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.

Almost with his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson Courtney Johnson and siblings James Dawkins, Joe Dawkins, Robert Dawkins, Clyde Dawkins, John Henry Dawkins, Hubert Dawkins, Corine Griffin and Earline Dawkins.

Funeral service will be Saturday, August 31, 2019 12:00 Noon at Enoree Fork Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
