Mr. Frederick Troy Benson, son of Eula Mae Benson and the late George Benson, Jr., passed Saturday, October 8, 2022.

He was a member of Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Lyman, SC.  He was employed with Bondtex Inc. in Duncan, SC, for seven years as a Machine Operator.

Troy loved cooking, dancing and entertaining his family and friends.  He was the life of the party.  Troy loved with his whole heart.  He took after his father with his knowledge of working on lawnmowers.

Left to cherish fond and long memories or Troy along with his mother Mrs. Eula Mae Benson; include his two brothers, Stacey (Linda) Benson of Boiling Springs, SC and Mario Benson of Spartanburg, SC; his sister, Jackie (Kevin) Miller of Chesnee, SC; his aunt, Bridy B. (Rev. Samuel) Jones of Spartanburg, SC; along with a host of other family and friends.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Quention L. Benson.

Funeral service will be Saturday, 12:00 Noon at Travelers Rest Missionary Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, community and coworkers.
