Mr. Franklin Snoddy, husband of Bertha M. Snoddy, son of the late Alec Snoddy and the late Louise B. Snoddy, passed Sunday, March 21, 2021.

He was a member of Valley Brook Outreach Baptist Church.  He worked at Jackson Mills for many years and after departing there he retired from Flower Baking Company.  In his spare time he enjoyed  nice cars, fishing, watching football, listening to gospel music, dressing nice and anything having to deal with numbers.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mr. Snoddy are his wife Bertha of over 59 years; his children, Lula M. (Stanley) Thompson of Woodruff, SC, Teresa (Michael) Bownes of Greenville, SC, Timothy (Dorsey) Snoddy, Franklin Snoddy, Jr., and Timmie Cohen all of Greer, SC; his siblings, Bobby (Betty Todd) Snoddy, Billy Snoddy, Mary Ann (David) Hunter all of Greenville, SC and Brenda (Larry) Hunter of Spartanburg, SC; 12 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Snoddy.

Graveside service will be Sunday, March 28, 2021 1:00 PM lead by Pastor Curtis Johnson at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.  Please be advised, we may experience inclement weather; please contact the mortuary 864-877-2581 before 12:00PM for any updates for this service.   Mr. Snoddy will be available for viewing on Saturday evening from 4:00PM until 7:00PM in the viewing window at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.
