Woodruff, SC--Floree Wright was born to Ulass Moore and Gina Durant Moore on Wednesday, July 20, 1938. She was married to Mackie Wright for 30 yrs. Although they had no biological children Floree took pride in being Aunt Ree Ree to many nieces, nephews, and others within the community.

Floree joined the Old Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church as a child and attended faithfully until her health declined. She served on the Missionary and Hospitality ministries when able. She was also a former choir member. Floree retired from the Greenville County School District in 2002 only to return a short while later as a part time employee.

She will be remembered for cooking Sunday dinner for anyone that would stop by and sitting on the porch in the company of others.

Left to cherish fond memories are a devoted niece & caregiver Janice Talley (Keith) of Duncan, SC. Nieces reared in the home Betty Johnson of Simpsonville, Phylliss Dawkins of Greenville, Shirley McMahan of Atlanta GA. Brothers Jimmy Sullivan of Reidville and Ulysses Moore of Greenville, Sister-in-law Willie Mae Sullivan of Woodruff, and play-daughter & caregiver Angie Johnson of Woodruff as well as many other nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at Old Pilgrim Baptist Church in Simpsonville, SC on S aturday, October 19, 2019 at 3:00pm with burial in church cemetery.
