Greer, South Carolina

Mrs. Elizabeth B. Martin, widow of Willie J. Martin, daughter of the late Walter C. and Everlean B. Ballenger, passed Saturday, February 1, 2025.

She was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, she loved flowers, shopping and cooking.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories include her two daughters Crystalyn Greer and Angela Dodd both of Greer, SC; sister, Velma Fowler of Greer, SC; five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son Quentin L. Martin, sisters Annie Lee Young and Minister Eutoris B. Foster and her brothers, Walter R. Ballenger and Arthur L. Ballenger.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, 11:00 AM at Cedar Grove Baptist Church with the body being placed in the church at 10:00 AM and burial to follow in the church cemetery.  Public viewing will take place on Friday, February 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel.
