Eleanor Jane (nee Ryan) Sanderson sadly passed away on February 16, 2023, at the age of 89. She was born on August 23, 1933, in Massena, NY to the late Edward J. and Myrtle Ryan but was a resident of upstate South Carolina since 1960. She was a wonderful mother who was always there for her children. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the Jehovah's Witness community in Piedmont, SC.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roy B. Sanderson and sons, Bobby and Timothy Sanderson. She is survived by her children, Sandra Smith (Michael), Kathryn Smith (David) and son, James Sanderson; eight grandchildren, Andrew Sanderson, Sara Cartee, Brandy Armstrong, Joleen Bragg, Shaun, Melissa, Christopher and Jennifer Smith; fifteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be announced by the family of the late Mrs. Eleanor J. Sanderson at a later date. The family is being cared for by Sullivan Bros. Mortuary and Cremation Centers of South Carolina.
