Greer, SC

Edna G. Latta, widow of Thomas Latta, daughter of the late Coleman and Marie H. Gilliam, passed Thursday, March 18, 2021 peacefully at her home surrounded by her family.

She was a member of Maple Creek Missionary Baptist Church.  Retired inspector with J. P. Stevens (Westpoint).

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are her children, Janet L Young of Greenville, SC and Thomas (Norma) Latta of Greer, SC; her sister, Vivian Rice of Norwalk, CT; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Eugene Gilliam, Charlesetta Rosemond and Marion Gilliam.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 24, 2021 1:00 PM at Maple Creek Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Family will be seated in the church beginning at 12:30 PM for anyone who would like to greet them prior to service.
