Taylors, South Carolina

Mr. Donell Moody, husband of Rosa Moody, son of the late Clarence and Lillian P. Moody, Sr., passed Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

He was a member of Mayfield Chapel Baptist Church.  He attended Lincoln High School and after high school he began to work at J. P Stevens and Bibb Co for many years.  Those who knew him, knew his fashion!  He enjoyed shopping, traveling, listening to music and fishing.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories including his wife Rosa for more than 56 years are his children, Rico (Jackie) Moody of Moore, SC, Silky (Kourtni) Moody of Taylors, SC, Marlo Goldsmith of Greer, SC, Marc (Jacqueline) Goldsmith of Simpsonville, SC, Channing (Cherelle) Moody and Metrell (Jude) Neal  both of Taylors, SC; sister, Bennie Lee Richardson of Greer, SC; sister-in-law, Billie Ann Moody of Greer, SC; 31 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, M C Morris, Kenneth Moody and Clarence Moody, Jr.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, 12:00 noon, Cedar Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Public viewing will be held prior to the service starting at 11:00 AM at the church.
