Pelzer, SC---Mr. David P. Fields son of Mrs. Janie Black Fields and the late Joe Fields, Jr., was born on June 1, 1954 in Fountain Inn, SC. He was a graduate of Woodmont High School. After graduating high school, he went on to continue his education at Delaware State University and Anderson University. He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. On Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Greenville Healthcare System, God in His infinite wisdom summoned David to make the transition from life here to eternal rest. Left to cherish fond and loving memories along with his mother are his sisters Imogene Fields Clarke of Columbia, SC, Clara E. (Sylvester) Redmond of Atlanta, GA and Sheralyn (Steve) Fields Smith of Pelzer, SC; along with a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Joe Fields, III.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 1:30pm at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 206 Moore Street, Simpsonville, SC with burial in church cemetery.
