Greer, South Carolina

Mrs. Darlene Smith, wife of Stepson Wayne Smith, daughter of the late Bennie Lee and El Willie Gregory, passed Sunday, January 26, 2025.

A member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church; Darlene was known for her infectious smile.  She was a retired dietician from Piedmont Lutheran.

Her legacy will forever live in the hearts of those she left behind including her husband Stepson of over 40 years; children, Micheal (Cyndi) Gregory of Spartanburg, SC, Michelle (LaNate) Neal of Taylors, SC and Alisha (Robert) Clark of Greenville, SC; brother, Bennie (Tabitha )Gregory, Jr. of Greenville, SC; sister, Barbara (Leroy) McCray of Greer, SC; grandchildren, Deasia Gregory, Dantavius and Jamere Green; Absidee Gregory, Aniya Williams and Malachi Neal; three great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Lee Gregory.

A service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, 12:00 Noon at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel.  Please keep the Smith Family in your prayers.  Please sign the online guestbook and share words of encouragement for the Smith family.
