Mr. Danny Smith, son of Lillie Ree Smith and the late James Robert Smith, Sr., passed Friday, May 31, 2024.

He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Greer.  In his spare time, he enjoyed decorating, cooking and putting together puzzles.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories, including his mother Lillie Ree Smith, include his siblings, James (Jeannie) Smith and Darrell (Beth) Smith both of Greer, SC, Wayne (Darlene) Smith of Wellford, SC and Juanita (Ron) Mills of Fountain Inn, SC; nieces, Alisha (Robert) Clark of Hampton, VA, Jamesia and Shaquila Downs of Duncan, SC, Diandrea Williams of Greenville, SC, Chevez Smith of Boulder, CO, and Michelle Gregory of Greer, SC; nephews, Dorell Williams of Spartanburg, SC, Chevious Smith of Austin, TX, Zephaniah and Clayton Smith, Trey Jackson-Watson all of Greer, SC and Micheal Gregory of Spartanburg, SC; best friend, Brenda Murphy of Taylors, SC; along with a host of other family and friends.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Deborah A. Smith; maternal grandparents William and Louise Salters; paternal grandparents, Mitchell Thompson and Margie Smith.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 9, 2024, 3:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church.
