Greer, South Carolina

Mrs. Cynthia Waters, wife of Tony Waters, daughter of Robert F. and Sylvia Jean Whiteside, passed Sunday, September 17, 2023, peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was a member of Redemption World Outreach Center.  A graduate of Greer High School.  After high school, she attended Benedict College.  She was the former manager of Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Cynthia, including her husband Tony of over 31 years, her parents Robert and Sylvia; include her daughter, Jasmine Whiteside of Greer, SC; son, Zavier Waters of Greer, SC; sisters, Sandy Brooks of Greenville, SC, Belinda Smith of Greer, SC and Natarcha Pearson of Cordova, TN; stepdaughter, Easha Bivings of Woodruff, SC; grandchildren, Jae'veon Shands, Lennon Waters and Valerie Waters; god child, Trinity Dantzler and grand dog Ava; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Franklin Waters.

Funeral service will be Saturday, September 23, 2023, 12:00 Noon, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church.  Public viewing will be Friday, September 22, 2023, 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary.
