Mr. Curtis Gerard Dawkins, son of Carolyn Moss Dawkins and the late Roland Dawkins, Jr. passed June 29, 2016.

Member of Silver Hill United Methodist Church. As a member he was apart of the United Methodist Men. Graduate of Spartanburg High School class of 1981. Member of Stewart Lee # 367 Prince Hall Affiliation. He volunteered at the Center of Hope. During his spare time he enjoyed grilling, bowling, fellowshipping with family and friends, travelling, reading his bible and watching his Dallas Cowboys play. If you ever met him he would always greet you with a smile!
He was an employee with Michelin Tire.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories along with his mother are his sons Travis D. Dawkins and Curtis L. Dawkins both of Spartanburg; granddaughter Keyia N. Dawkins of Spartanburg; fiancé' Barbara Jones of Jonesville, GA; siblings William Dawkins, Roland (Geneva) Dawkins III, Vanessa Davis, Charlton (James) Williams, Cynthia Williams and Willa (Johnny) Rice all of Spartanburg and Jewel (David) Wheeler of Lawrenceville, GA; special son Josh Jones of Jonesville, GA and close friend Kelvin Geter of Spartanburg along with a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Michael McIntyre.

Funeral service Thursday, July 7, 2016 12:00 Noon Silver Hill United Methodist Church with burial in Lincoln Memorial Gardens. Family will have a visitation Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 6:00PM - 7:00PM Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.
