Mr., Craig L. Dunbar, son of the late Beulah Juanita Dunbar Sledge, was born in Grand Rapids, MI.  On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, peacefully he exchanged his earthly life for his heavenly wings.

Craig spent most of his adult life in Greer.  He was known around Greer for his cooking.  Having worked for many restaurants in Greer, SC.  A few of his favorite pastime hobbies included writing "spoken word" poetry, listening to music and watching action movies.

He is survived by his former wife and friend Sonya Austin, numerous, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

In addition to his mother's death, Craig was preceded in death by his brother Carnell and Keith Dunbar.

Committal service will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, 10:00AM at Needmore Cemetery.
