Mr. Correll D. "Corey" Jones, 23, was born on June 2, 1998 to, son of Terry D. and Chrystel B Jones in Greenville, South Carolina., passed Saturday, January 15, 2022.

Corey, as he was affectionately known, joined Maple Creek Missionary Baptist Church at an early age.  He loved his church and was very involved in the youth activities.  Corey easy going demeanor and loving smile will be missed by his family, but especially by his parents Terry and Chrystel, sister Teyatta and nephew Marques.

He was born into a sports family, and he loved all sports.  Football was his true love!  He played all levels of football from youth recreation to high school at Carolina High School.  Those who knew him, will always remember him for that loveable personality, big smile and his great sense of humor.

Corey loved his family and those he called his friends.  Left to cherish fond and loving memories or Correll including his mother and father, are his sister Teyatta (Lenna) Jones of Greenville, SC; his uncles and aunts Min. Erick (Natalie L.) Bennett of Mauldin, SC, Deamond (Deloris) Anderson of Piedmont, SC and Dorian Anderson of Taylors, SC; his nephew Marques Jones of Greenville, SC; along with a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Wilbur and Rubye Anderson, paternal grandparents, Robert and Geneva Jones and Aunt Carlotta Jones.

Funeral service will be Monday, January 24, 2022, 12:00 Noon at Maple Creek Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens. Viewing will take place on Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 3:00PM until 5:00PM in the viewing window of Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.  Covid protocol has been set in place to attend the service at Maple Creek Missionary Baptist Church.  Mask must be worn to cover mouth and nose the entire time while attending the service.  If you have been sick or exposed to someone who maybe under the weather, we ask that you respect the safety of others and stay home.  Please keep the Jones family in your prayers.
