Greer, South Carolina

Mr. Charles Edward Foster, husband of Carolyn Foster, son of the late Mance and Beatrice Thompson Foster, Sr., passed Saturday, November 10, 2018.

He was a member of Greater Hopewell Baptist Church.  In January he retired with over 25 years of experience with Commission of Public Works in Greer, South Carolina.  During his spare time he enjoyed fishing, restoring his old truck, being a handy man and working in the yard.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories along with his wife Carolyn of over 46 years are his sons Charles Foster, Jr. of Greer, SC and Kevin (Amanda) Foster of Duncan, SC; grandchildren Braeden Foster of Greer, SC, Kiana Foster and Aiyana Foster both of Duncan, SC; siblings Roy Lee Foster and Danny Ray Foster both of Greer, SC; Mance (Jackie) Foster, Jr. of Duncan, SC, Bobby (Jannie) Foster of Wellford, SC and Shirley Ann Foster of Greer, SC; along with a host of other family and friends.  Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his special nephew Sean Foster.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 17, 2018 12:00 Noon at Greater Hopewell Baptist Church Rev. Thomas Yeargin Pastor, and burial will taken place in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
