Caleb Emanuele Cohen, Sr., 35, of Spartanburg, SC was born September 4, 1987, to Steve Cohen of Inman, SC and Shirley G. Cohen of Moore, SC. He entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 3, 2023.

After graduating from Dorman High School, Caleb continued his education by attending and graduating from Spartanburg Community College.

Caleb loved his family, children and grandparents deeply. Growing up, Caleb enjoyed playing sports, but basketball, soccer, and baseball were especially a few of his favorites. He was always excited to receive awards and trophies from the various team leagues he was a part of even in adulthood. Going to places like Disney World, Six Flags, Dolly Wood and Carowinds were some of his favorite activities as a young boy while also delighting in Sunday School and singing the church choir at Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church.  At the time of his death, Caleb was a lead supervisor on the dock at Pet Dairy in Spartanburg, SC.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his parents; children, Kerrington A. Cohen, Maya M. Cohen and Caleb E. Cohen, Jr of Spartanburg, SC; his brother, SFC Retired LaMar Cohen of DeRidder, LA and a host of other family and friends.

Preceding Caleb in death were his maternal grandparents, Roy and Helen Glenn and paternal grandparents, Colie and Mammie J. Cohen.

Funeral service will be Sunday, June 11, 2023, 2:00 PM at Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends prior to the service starting at 1:00 PM.
