Greer, SC

Mr. Bronston Horton, husband of Gladys Horton for over 40 years, traded in his earthly home for his heavenly reward on Friday, June 28, 2019 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.

He is a United States Navy Veteran.  During his spare time he enjoyed watching the Boston Celtics and Miami Dolphins play football.

Left to cherish his fond and loving memories, along with his wife Gladys L. Horton of over 40 years, are his children, Terry Horton of Fayetteville, NC, Elainea Wright of Fayetteville, NC and Gwendaline Horton of Georgetown, SC; 11 grandchildren, three who were reared in the home Ashley (Raytarius) Nance of Greenville, SC, Xavier Wright and Ciera Young both of Greer, SC; twenty five great grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his step children Charles (JacQuee) Wooden and Linda Wooden.

Funeral service will be Sunday, July 7, 2019 2:00PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Military Honors will be provided.  Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers during their bereavement.
