Mr. Brian Keith Dunbar son of Juanita (John) Dunbar-Sledge and the late Staff Sergeant Carnell Dunbar, Sr. passed Saturday, May 6, 2017 in Fountain Inn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Brian was baptized at the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church on July 23, 1967 by Rev. W. T. Boggs, Sr.. upon locating to Grand Rapids, MI at the age of thirteen. He became a member of True Light Baptist Church and attended Ottawa High School. He was an excellent swimmer, enjoyed ice skating and drawing. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his mother Juanita Dunbar-Sledge; step father John Sledge; daughter Aundra Dunbar of Greer, SC; two brothers Carnell Dunbar, Jr. and Craig (Sonya) Dunbar both of Greer; three grandchildren Te'Asion, Aunyeh and Montell; one aunt Leitha Jones; along with a host of other family and friends. Funeral service Wednesday, May 10, 2017 12:00 Noon at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel with burial in Needmore Cemetery. The Dunbar family is being cared for by Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.
