Mr. Bobby Higgins widower of Mrs. Lee Ruth Todd Higgins was born Spartanburg County to the late Mr. Levi Higgins and Mrs. Larry Evins Higgins Montgomery, departed his life on Thursday, June 11, 2020 peacefully surrounded by his family.

He was a member of Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church and a graduate of Florence Chapel High School. He was employed with Homelite/John Deere in Greer over thirty years. He enjoyed fishing and gardening. From an early age he enjoyed singing and was the co-founder of the family group Bobby Higgins and the Gospelaires.

Precious memories will linger in the hearts of his daughter, Jackie (Randy) Robinson of Woodruff, SC; a brother, Donald Higgins of Inman, SC; a sister-in-law, Margaret Higgins of Greer, SC and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Rozella Glenn and Lydia Higgins; two brothers, Joe Cecil Higgins and John Henry Higgins.
