Wellford, South Carolina

Bobbie J. McClintock, daughter of the late Jessie Ruth McClintock, passed Monday, February 10, 2025, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was a member of New Faith Baptist Church.  She attended Florence Chapel High School.  After high school, she worked at Inman Mills for many years.  In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, baking cakes, being a jokester and making people laugh.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Ms. McClintock include her daughter, Venita (Rev. Howard) Sexton of Fairmont, SC; son, Jason McClintock of Spartanburg, SC; brother Whit (Clara) McClintock of Wellford, SC; granddaughters, Cherie Sexton and Alicia Sexton both of Fairmont, SC and Grandson, Christopher (Nurit) Sexton of Taylors, SC; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great-great grand; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony McClintock, sister, Mary Ann Styles, brother, Robert Lee McClintock and uncle, Major Lee McClintock.

Public viewing will take place on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.  Funeral service will take place on Friday, February 14, 2025, 11:00 AM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM prior to the service.
