Birdie Mae Parks Hill, widow of Javan Hill, daughter of the late Dewey Parks and Maggie Lee Drummond, passed on Sunday, March 10, 2019 peacefully surrounded by her family.

She was a member and mother of Mayfield Chapel Baptist Church.  At church, she sang on the Sullivan Mixed and Adult Choirs; she was a member of Sunday School Class #9; she was the President of the Mother Board and she was a member of the Senior Missionary.  During her spare time she enjoyed watching her soap operas, baking and sewing.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mrs. Hill are her children  Robert L. (Thomasina) Hill and Linda Carol Hill all of Greer, SC; 15 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 17 years Javan Hill; her daughters, Mary Hill and Barbara Jean Ballenger; her sons, Curtis Lee (Sadie) Hill and J. Calvin Hill; siblings, Hattie Mae Williams and Theodore Parks.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 1:00PM at Mayfield Chapel Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  A visitation will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 6:00PM until 7:00 PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary.
