Mrs. Betty J. Lane, widow of Johnny Lane, Sr., daughter of the late Warren G and St. Lawrance B. Woodruff, passed Saturday, August 3, 2019.

During her spare time she enjoyed bowling, working and completing her crossword puzzles.  She is a graduate of Sims High School.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories are her children Johnny (Eva) Lane, Jr. of Spartanburg, South Carolina and Tavara (Willie) Lane-Bruton of Duncan, South Carolina; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Willie Lewis Woodruff, Stewart Woodruff, Elizabeth "Liz" Morman, Shirley Ann Glenn and Linda Sue Switzer.

Funeral service will be Saturday, August 10, 2019 4:00PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Chapel.  Please keep the Lane family in your prayers during their time of bereavement.
