Lyman, SC

Ms. Betty Jo Nesbitt, daughter of the late Mattie Lee Smith and the late Willie Guy Nesbitt, Sr., passed Saturday, January 1, 2022.

She was a dedicated member of New Trinity Baptist Church.  She was employed with Auriga Polymers Inc.  During her spare time, you could catch her traveling or cruising.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Ms. Betty are her daughter, Deborah (Patrick) Dudley of Greenville, SC; her brother, Eugene (Dale) Nesbitt of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren, Kudajah "Katt" Copeland of Spartanburg, SC, Kunagee (Akayla) Nesbitt and Kushondi (Audrey) Nesbitt both of Lyman, SC; her pet fish and Tank and Bella; along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gloria Nesbitt-High and her siblings, Geraldine Nesbitt, Shirley Ballenger, Janice Booker, Cora Lee Nesbitt, Willie Guy Nesbitt, Jr. and Roger Nesbitt.

Funeral service will be Saturday, January 8, 2022 2:30PM at New Trinity Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.  Public viewing will be held prior to the service from 1:30PM until hour of service.  For your protection and the protection of others, if you are feeling sick, or have been recently exposed to anyone who maybe under the weather, please sign our guest book in memory of Ms. Nesbitt.
