Wellford, SC Betty Watson Henderson,87, widow of Roosevelt Henderson, daughter of the late Wales and Annie Bell Watson passed on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Pelham Medical Center.
She was a member of New Moore's Chapel Baptist Church in Duncan, SC. Betty retired from Startex Elementary School after working many years. Her favorite hobbies were fishing, gardening and solving puzzles.
Her memories will be cherished by her two daughters, Mamie Irby of Wellford, SC and Norma (Kenny) Morrow of Woodruff, SC; a son, Timmie Fowler of Spartanburg, SC; a twin sister, Betty Lee Reid of Wellford, SC; eight grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at New Moore's Chapel Baptist Church in Duncan, SC on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 02:00pm with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Greer, SC. The Henderson Family is being cared for by Sullivan Bros. Mortuary, Inc.
