Mr. Benjamin "Ben" Foster, widower of Lillie Mae Foster, son of the late Fred and Vera Wheeler Foster, Sr., passed Wednesday, February 15, 2017. Member of New Hope Baptist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed attending the flea markets, watching his clocks, watching TV and eating out. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are his children Bennie (Nita) Foster of Greenville, SC, Tim Foster of Woodruff, SC, Nick (Susan) Foster of Lyman, SC, Jim Foster of Taylors, SC, Regina Foster of Greer, SC and Angie Scott of Wellford, SC; siblings Lillie ( Rev. Wendell) Thompson Sr., of Greer, SC, Raymond (Juanita) Foster of Wellford, SC and William (Mary) Foster of Spartanburg, SC; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings Fred (Mattie) Foster, Myles (Thalia) Foster, Sunnie Dean and Fannie Mae Foster. Graveside service will be Tuesday, February 21, 2017 11:00 AM at New Hope Baptist Church in Greer, South Carolina. Family will have a visitation Monday, February 20, 2017 from 6:00-7:30pm at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc. Family is being cared for by Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.
