Mrs. Beatrice T. Suber-Parks daughter of the late Will Thompson and Corrie Miller Shaw-Thompson was a homemaker and loving widow to Hellen Parks.  She lived an abundant and blessed life until the age of 102.  She passed away peacefully at the home of her great-granddaughter Alicia Parks on Friday May 13, 2022. She was a resident at 211 Austin Street Greer SC for many years where she was well known and loved by the community that surrounded her.

Beatrice was a beloved mother and matriarch in her family.  She was a powerful woman of God who loved the Lord with all her heart, soul and mind.  She was a member of Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church.  She enjoyed worshipping and singing gospel hymns daily.  She was a caring and giving woman known by family and close friends to have a hot meal prepared at any time of the day.  God blessed her with compassion that granted her a long and fulfilling life which nurtured and raised many children throughout her long life!  Her life of strength and wisdom impacted us all and she will be tremendously missed.

Beatrice is survived with loving memories from daughters, Eleanor Turner, Rozina (Ray) Bivings and Shirley Ann Mack; 18 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 30 great-great grandchildren; one great-great-great grandchild. She will be missed by her dog Tracy and a host of other special family and friends.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her sons, Billy Parks, Cecil Parks and Fletcher Parks; her daughters, Rosella Parks, Martha Kelly, Hellen King, Norma Jean Parks and Rachel Parks; her brothers Billy "Coop" Perry Shaw, Johnny (Carroll) Shaw, Sr., Jessie James "Bud" Shaw and a sister Ann Mae T. Grayson.

The family would like to send a sincere and heartfelt thank you to a very special friend Sabrina Parks for the hard work and dedication in honor of Beatrice.  You are very much appreciated, and we love you!  We ask that you continue to keep the Parks-Suber family in prayer.

Funeral service will be Saturday, May 21, 2022, 12:00 Noon at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church with burial and dove release to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.  Viewing will take place from 11:00AM until hour of service.
