On August 12 th 2021 our beloved Barbara Ann peacefully transitioned to heaven to unite with her parents Maxie & Grace Hall Wright, her husband Jose Fuentes, son Sergei Hamer and older brother Maxie Wright Jr.

Barbara joined Nicholtown Baptist Church at an early age, she loved giving and helping others.  As a young adult she left Greenville for the big city of New York where she lived for over 45 years. In 1995 she felt the need to return to South Carolina and reconnect with family and friends.

Barbara loved collecting dolls, shopping passionately, taking and collecting pictures of special moments with family and friends alike, as well as cooking special meals for her loved ones.

Loving memories of Barbara will be cherished by her daughter Nicole Hamer (Birmingham, Al), her sisters Dorris Wright (Salisbury, NC), Maxine Wright (New York), Frances Calhoun (Huntsville, Al), her brother Gregory Wright (Knightsdale, NC), her special boy cousin William Young and a host of nieces, nephews who were all special to her and other close family and friends.

Special Thanks to Mrs. Brenda Lawson & Ruby Scott of Carolina Nursing & Amber Coleman who drove her shopping to her favorite stores Sam's & GW (Goodwill) where a bargain was sheer delight.
