Taylors, SC

Mr. Anthony Lee Jones was born in Spartanburg County to the late Mr. Henry Jones and Mrs. Precious Thompson Tate, departed his life on Monday, June 29, 2020 at Prisma Health—Greenville Memorial Hospital.

He was a member of St. Paul Baptist Church in Spartanburg, SC and a graduate of Riverside High School. He was employed with Homelite/John Deere in Greer, SC. He enjoyed watching westerns, listening to music and rooting for his favorite team the Carolina Panthers.

Precious memories will linger in the hearts of his mother, Mrs. Precious Tate of Taylors, SC; daughters, Michelle Owens and Ayonna Ratliff both of Greenville, SC; son, Kedrick Martin of Charlotte, NC; five sisters, Wanda Foster of Inman, SC, Mary Massey, Dottie Miller, Denise Burton and Wanda Lewis all of Spartanburg, SC; a brother, Roderick Tate of Taylors, SC; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren, two aunts, Carolyn Jones and Marion Hill both of Spartanburg, SC; a uncle, William Brewton of Spartanburg, SC; his best canine friend, King and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
