Greer, SC

Annie Jean Sullivan Gaffney, wife of Bobby Joe Gaffney, daughter of the late John Lawrence Eugene and Annie Mae King Sullivan passed Monday, June 29, 2020.

She was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.  Graduate of Lincoln High School class of 1956; she was known for being the first Miss Lincoln High School Fall 1955.  She was the owner of Community Florist in Greer, SC.  Inductee into the Piedmont Athletic Hall of Fame class of 2019.

Left to cherish fond and long memories of Annie Jean are her husband Bobby; children Kenneth Gaffney, Jeffery Gaffney, Jewel Gaffney (James) Dillard, Robbie Gaffney McIntyre and Shunette Gaffney-McBee; sisters, Ruby Sullivan Wilson of San Rafael, CA, Glenda Sullivan (Clifford) Rice of Greer, SC and Maryam Sullivan Amrullah of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild; a dog child named Dutchess along with a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister Robbie Loretta Sullivan (Phil) Thompson.

Graveside service will be Monday, July 6, 2020 11:00 Am at Wood Memorial Park.  Window viewing will take place Sunday, July 5, 2020 from 3:00PM until 7:00PM.
