Mrs. Annie Bell Downs Radden, widow of Walsh Radden, daughter of the late Samuel and Ella Mae Henderson Benjamin passed Friday February 9,2018. She was a member of Mayfield Chapel Baptist Church. During her spare time she enjoyed Reading, quilting, gardening and planting roses. Left to cherish fond and loving memories are her sister Viola Wilkes of Asheville, NC; her grandchildren Mary Riser of Spartanburg, SC and Robert (Annie) Downs of Greenville, SC; her great grandsons Henry (Stephania) Downs and Tavares Styles both of Spartanburg, SC; nephew Al (Beverly) Wilkes of Asheville, NC; her nieces Dasha Reid of Asheville, NC and Sylvia (Richard) Bennett of Suffolk, VA; her god-daughter Linda (Jim) Bivings of Taylors, SC; her 11 great-great grandchildren and dog Charlet Valentine Downs great grand pet; along with other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter Mary Alice Downs, her siblings Timothy Benjamin, Pearl Marshall, Sallie Mozelle Giles, Samuel Benjamin, Jr., Elizabeth Johnson, Mae Smith, Willie M. Pope and Rudolph Benjamin; great grandson Bennie Riser, Jr. Funeral service will be Friday, February 16, 2018 1:00PM at Harvest House Ministries. The Family would like to thank everyone for all their kindness shown to them during their time of loss. The Family is being cared for by Sullivan Bros. Mortuary Inc.
