Mrs. Alma Jean F. Richardson, wife of Willie J. Richardson, daughter of the late Jimmy and Alma M. Smith, passed Sunday, October 18,2020 peacefully at her home.

She was a member of Jubilee Baptist Church.  She graduated from Lincoln High School.  In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and making flower arrangements for center pieces.

Left to cherish fond and loving memories of Mrs. Alma are her husband Willie J. Richardson for over 50 years; son, Stephen (Venita) Foster of Travelers Rest, SC; daughters, Valerie D. Foster and Lacouillia Y. Foster both of Greenville, SC; siblings, Edna Mae Smith of Pickens, SC, Bertha Mae Patterson, Bridgeport, CT, Troy Lee Smith of Pelzer, SC, Patricia (Willie) Ballentine of Anderson SC, Jimmy (Silvia) Smith, Jr. of Bridgeport, CT, and cousin like a sister Edith B. Moss of Greenville, SC; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren along with a host of other family and friends.  She was reared in the home of her Aunt (Mother's sister) and Uncle Mr. and Mrs. Alberta and Eugene Foster.

She was preceded in death by her siblings J. Harold Smith, Oddsia Smith, Jessie Lee Smith, Bobby Lee Smith, William Author Smith, Barbara Ann Smith Chancellor and Elizabeth Dantzler.

Graveside service will take place on Friday, October 23, 2020 11:00 AM at Jubilee Baptist Church Cemetery.  A viewing will take place for Mrs. Alma on Thursday, October 22, 2020 beginning at 3:00PM until 7:00PM at Sullivan Bros. Mortuary in the viewing window.  In attendance for the graveside, social distancing is requested and please wear your mask.  If unable to stand for extended periods of time, please bring a lawn chair for your comfort.
