Lyman, SC

Mrs. Alfreda Montgomery was born on Saturday, August 14, 1943 in Washington, DC to the late Mr. James and Mrs. Eulee Ward. She departed her life on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home, Spartanburg, SC. She was the wife of Mr. Robert Montgomery for Sixty Years. Mrs. Alfreda was the last survivor of her immediate family.

She was retired from Textube Corporation in Greer, SC where she worked for many years. She loved spending time with her granddaughter, Latavia.

Precious memories will forever be in the hearts of her son, Mr. John Leslie (Barbara) Ward of Greer, SC; a granddaughter, Miss Latavia S. Ward of Greenville, SC; two step daughters, Ms. Undra Cohen and Mrs. Gail (Ray) Dillard both of Wellford, SC; two step sons, Mr. Robert Scott of Wellford, SC and Mr. Darrell Scott of Lyman, SC.

She was preceded in death by her ten siblings, James Ward, Lloyd Ward, Leonard Ward, Alfred Ward her twin brother, Emma Foster, Alma and Alvin Ward her twin sister and brother, Charles Ward, Lula Ward Peterson and Edna Ward.
